On June 25, 2025, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued a Notice of Violation (Notice) to Vartarian Medical for two SL III violations of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 35.41(b)(2) and 35.41(b)(5), “Procedures for administrations requiring a written directive,” and 10 CFR 35.3045(e), “Report of a medical event.” In addition, the Notice included an SL IV violation of 10 CFR 35.40(a), “Written directives.”
